How It Works
01
Consultation
Define scope, resolution, and accuracy requirements.
Consultation
We begin every project with a thorough discovery session. Our specialists work with you to define the exact scope, required LOD, target accuracy tolerances, and deliverable formats—ensuring the entire workflow is aligned with your project goals before a single scan is taken.
02
Mobilization
Local specialists arrive on-site for rapid data capture.
Mobilization
Our certified field technicians deploy with Trimble hardware to your site. Working efficiently to minimize disruption, they execute a systematic scan plan—capturing every corner, elevation, and mechanical space with millimeter-level precision.
03
Processing
Data registration and noise reduction via global hubs.
Processing
Raw scan data is transferred to our global processing hubs where specialists perform cloud-to-cloud registration, noise filtering, and coordinate alignment. The result is a clean, unified point cloud ready for modeling or direct client use.
04
Delivery
Secure transfer of registered point cloud data.
Delivery
Finalized deliverables—RCP, E57, RCS, or full Revit models—are securely transferred via our client portal. Every file is quality-checked against the original scan data before handoff, with a QA report included for full traceability.

Scan to BIM
OUR SCAN TO BIM PROCESS
1. Preliminary Planning and Site Preparation
① Plan scanning paths and station positions to ensure no blind spots and ≥30% overlap rate.
② Survey the site, marking obstructions, blind spots, and hazardous areas; verify scanning conditions are met.
③ Deploy control targets (spherical/planar) for multi-station scan stitching.
④ Establish coordinate system (project coordinate system/national coordinate system).
2. 3D Data Acquisition and Point Cloud Preprocessing
① Scanning: Professionals conduct 3D scanning using Trimble series scanners.
② Registration: Multi-station scan data is merged to eliminate coordinate deviations, commonly employing target registration, ICP algorithms, and inter-cloud matching.
③ Cleaning: Noise points, outliers, redundant points, and human/temporary objects are removed.
④ Output: Conversion and export to universal formats (E57, LAS, RCP) compatible with BIM software.
3. BIM Modeling and Point Cloud Analysis
① Model building structures, interior finishes, and MEP systems based on scanned point clouds (as per client requirements).
② Perform clash detection between scanned point clouds and BIM design models to verify if spaces can be constructed per original drawings.
③ Develop renovation designs based on existing building structures and MEP point clouds.

① Generate floor plans (DWG, PDF) based on scanned point cloud data.
② Create furniture layout plans, floor covering plans, ceiling layout plans, elevations, sections, and other drawings based on the generated original building floor plans.
③ As 3D data, the scan perfectly restores on-site dimensional information, ensuring design drawings align precisely with actual construction conditions.
